A runaway teen from a remote island, Hodaka, scrapes by in Tokyo working for a dodgy occult magazine. Amidst relentless rain, he meets Hina, a girl with the extraordinary power to clear the sky by praying. Together, they start a business selling sunshine, but the true cost of controlling the weather soon threatens everything.
