A fierce feud between a mountain oni and a sky tengu wreaks havoc on the villages below. When a slave trader kidnaps the mother of twins, her husband Matahachi secretly enlists a snake spirit's aid to raise the children, unaware of the dark forces closing in on their fractured family.
