Raised by a former soldier after her parents were killed by a vampire, Kirie saw her guardian murdered by the same creatures at age twelve. As a teenager, she enlisted in the army of a mysterious god, eventually rising to become his right hand. This deity, revered as a benefactor, secretly controls both heaven and hell.
