Guardians of the Louvre

After a European tour, a Japanese painter lingers solo in Paris to explore its museums, only to collapse with fever in his hotel room, stranded by illness in a foreign city with no familiar support. As his delirium lifts, the Louvre’s immortal guardians—winged bulls and phantom visitors—emerge from the exhibits to guide him through the museum’s haunted halls.
