In the ancient kingdom of Yamataikoku, General Gotsuhiko angers Queen Himiko by falling for Momotsuhime, a woman from enemy territory. As punishment, the lovers are cursed to morph into demons at dawn and dusk, forcing them to search desperately for a way to undo the spell.
